Feedback

Definition:

Feedback is typically less formal than other forms of assessment of an instructor or of a mentees' work. Feedback opportunities can be incorporated into individual assignments, teaching sessions, or included in courses, with the overarching goals typically being better teaching (for instructors) and better learning (for students) as a kind of formative assessment
