Jan Vališ
Speciality
At NTK’s Department of Specialized Academic Services, I focus mainly on supporting Research Data Management (RDM), particularly in the context of Open Science (OS).
I received my BSc. in Analytical and Physical Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering at the University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague (UCT Prague), where I continued with MSc. in Analytical Chemistry and Quality Engineering and where I am currently doing my doctorate in the same field. I specialize on utilizing Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and Machine Learning (ML) for automating the processing and evaluation of Raman spectra for the diagnosis of severe diseases. In my second role at UCT Prague I serve as a faculty Data Steward, providing methodological support in RDM.
I am happy to assist you with questions related to RDM, particularly in the context of OS. Feel free to also reach out to me with inquiries regarding analytical and physical chemistry or doctoral studies. You can meet me not only through webinars and workshops but also in consultations.
